More Pacer Progress

The VoBR Pacer team braved the sub zero temperatures to visit 143 612 at Llanelli.

After topping up the oil and antifreeze, swapping two suspect start batteries we then used the services of Ian, a fitter familiar with these units from TfW days to carry out an A exam.

This was successfully completed and the unit moved under its own power to test the brakes.

The unit is now available for passenger use at the LMMR.
